Bridge

XMR ↔ XMR1

The bridge converts between native Monero (XMR) and XMR1 — a wrapped version of Monero that trades on Hyperliquid DEX. Both directions are non-custodial and require no registration.

What is XMR1?

XMR1 is a 1:1 wrapped token representing real Monero on Hyperliquid. Because Monero's blockchain is not compatible with smart contracts, XMR1 makes it possible to trade XMR on a decentralized exchange without going through a centralized intermediary.

Every XMR1 in circulation is backed by real XMR locked in the bridge. When you deposit XMR, XMR1 is minted. When you withdraw, XMR1 is burned and XMR is released.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. XMR1 is pegged 1:1 to native Monero. Every XMR1 in circulation is backed by real XMR locked in the bridge. The price of XMR1 on Hyperliquid may vary slightly from the spot XMR price due to trading activity, but arbitrageurs quickly close any gap.
Yes. The bridge operates through smart contract logic on Hyperliquid. ArkonSwap never holds your funds at any point. You retain full control throughout the process.
Monero requires 20 block confirmations before a transaction is considered final. Each block takes approximately 2 minutes, which adds up to ~40 minutes total. This is a Monero network requirement and cannot be shortened.
Yes, there is no minimum or maximum. However, very small amounts may not be economical given Monero network fees.
When you withdraw XMR1, those tokens are burned on Hyperliquid and the equivalent amount of XMR is released from the bridge reserve to your Monero address.
The Swap converts between different cryptocurrencies (e.g. BTC to XMR). The Bridge only converts between XMR and XMR1 — two representations of the same asset on different networks. Use the Swap if you want to exchange one crypto for another.
